Ingredients

A creamy horchata variation using rice, half-and-half, and sweetened condensed milk, flavored with vanilla and cinnamon, designed as a coffee creamer.

Directions

  1. 1

Place the rice, cinnamon sticks, and half and half in a blender. Blend until the rice and cinnamon resemble course sand.

  2. 2

Refrigerate this mixture for 8-12 hours.

  3. 3

Place a strainer and then a cheese cloth over a strainer on top of a wide mouthed container.

  4. 4

Pour the blender mixture over the cheesecloth.

  5. 5

Once all of the liquid has been poured, you can lift the cheesecloth and squeeze the remaining liquid into the container.

  6. 6

Add the condensed milk, vanilla, and sea salt to the container and stir until combined. Add an additional cinnamon stick to the container if you would like a stronger cinnamon flavor (it will continue to get stronger in flavor as it sits in the refrigerator).

  7. 7

Add to your coffee as you please! 🤍
