White Chocolate Vanilla Bean Whipped Maple Sauce
A maple syrup whipped with white chocolate, vanilla bean paste, and sea salt.
Ingredients
A whipped maple sauce made with white chocolate, vanilla bean paste, and sea salt to drizzle on drinks or desserts.
Directions
- 1
Heat the maple syrup in a heavy bottomed pan on medium heat until it reaches 235 degrees - no stirring.
- 2
Turn off the heat and leave the thermometer in, undisturbed, until the syrup reaches 120 degrees.
- 3
Pour into your mixing bowl, over the white chocolate chips, vanilla, and salt. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes to ensure that the chocolate chips melt before turning on the mixer.
- 4
One you turn on the mixer (or you can also use a hand mixer), you will beat the mixture on medium high until it reaches the consistency of what I would describe as melted peanut butter. This took about 20 minutes for me.
- 5
Pour into a jar and store in the fridge. This will thicken as it cools! Enjoy 🍁
